Synopsis
Afrique du Sud, 11 juillet 1963. Plusieurs membres du Congrès national africain, une organisation déclarée illégale, sont arrêtés à Rivonia, une maison de campagne près de Johannesburg. Les détenus, ainsi que Nelson Mandela, emprisonné depuis 1962, sont accusés de crimes graves pour leur activisme radical contre le régime d'apartheid.
