Synopsis
Bud, un jeune provincial, quitte l'Indiana pour s'installer à New York. Au cours d'une soirée, il rencontre Vida, une comédienne dont il s'éprend. Ce même soir, une jeune femme est retrouvée assassinée dans sa chambre d'hôtel : il devient alors le principal suspect.
